Liddesdale Heritage Centre Museum has a large collection of artifacts and exhibits different collections through-out the year. It is also well know for it’s interesting collection of railway memorabilia.

The 16th Century Tower House, set in a pear-tree garden in the heart of Jedburgh is almost a shrine to the tragic Mary Queen of Scot’s. She stayed here in 1566 and now the Tower House houses paintings, textiles and objects associated with her. On your visit you can explore her life through the Audio tour, foreign language guides, gifts, books and souvenirs that are available. You can also find a painting of Hermitage House, cannonballs, vaulted ( arched) ceiling on ground floor, tapestry, items found at Queens Mire including a watch and many other objects. The tower house is located within the town of Jedburgh and just off the main street, within walking distance of the town square. The Mary Queen of Scot’s Visitor Centre is open from Mon to Sat 10am to4.30pm and Sun 11am to 4pm. The Mary Queen ofScot’s Visitor Centre is owned by the Scottish Borders Council.
