This is in an area of outstanding beauty and the campsite is set in four acres of grassland close to a winding stream. There are twenty nine touring pitches all with electric hook up and some, not all, have hard standing. Heavy motorhomes are much better on hard standing if you can get it. Parking on grass is at your own risk as you may need a tow off in wet weather if the ground is soft. Historians regard the area as a worldwide heritage site. The writer of the American constitution was born just one mile from Cowslip Green at Wrington. There is a modern shower and toilet block and all the facilities one would expect in a good site plus the addition of use of Microwave,Fridge/Freezer, Ironing facilties and free Wifi. The site is very eco conscious and provides a Recycling Point for plastic, paper/cardboard, glass, tin, food and batteries. There is also covered seating areas and a garden area with seating. To get there in your Avon Motorhome Hire, follow the signs to Bristol Airport. Follow A38 for 3 miles, pass Darlington pub on right. The Camp site is signposted on the left at the bottom of the hill opposite the Holiday Inn. If you approach in your Avon Motorhome Hire from Bath on the A4, take the A368 to Churchill, turn right on A38 towards Bristol and then four miles down the road the campsite is signposted on the right. (Opposite Holiday Inn.)
