Whilst in Peterborough in a motorhome, take a trip to Huntingdon to visit the Cromwell Museum. The Cromwell Museum is situated in the birthplace of the notorious Oliver Cromwell, military and political leader of Britian in the 17th Century. Discover how Cromwell rose to power and became one of the most controversial characters in British history.

Hinchingbrooke Country Park is open grasslands offering a wide variety of wild flowers and plants. The site also has a visitors centre and offers activities for the family year round.

Just 2km west of Huntingdon you can find Hinchingbrooke Country Park, an excellent place to walk with the family in lovely surroundings. To get to the Park drive 1km from Brampton and then 2km off the A14 and A1.  Alternatively if you park near Views Common you can walk across to the park or you can also walk across Portholme Meadow from Godmanchester. The Park has over 170 acres of grasslands, meadows, woodlands and lakes. This is the place to enjoy walking, or having a picnic.
