Built in the middle ages, the stately home at Sizergh offers stunning oak-panelled rooms, portraits and fine furniture.
The grounds offer several picturesque gardens and a lake, with many walks available with stunning views of the surrounding landscape including Morecambe Bay and the Lake District fells.
The Castle is still inhabited today by the Strickland family, for whom it was built originally in 1239.
