While exploring Somerset in a motorhome, why not visit Montacute House, an Elizabethan house which incorporates a National Portrait Gallery exhibition.
At Montacute there are many Elizabethan exhibits on display including textile samplers and Artwork at the National Portrait Gallery.
Montacute House has been used as a filming location for many high budget film such as Elizabeth (1998), Sense and Sensibility (1995), and The Libertine (2004).
The house was even used as a model for Tottington Hall in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005).
